What You Need:

An old tie
A pair of scissors
Fabric elastic
Sewing machine (helpful, but not needed)
Upcycle
Step 1:

Open up the fabric of the tie and cut a piece of the fabric with the dimensions of about 17 inches by 3 inches.

Step 3:

Next, flip the scrunchie right side out and sew the loose edge of the elastic to the opposing side of the scrunchie.
Step 2:

Sew the fabric along the long edge, make sure the fabric is inside out at this stage. Then sew a piece of elastic to one of the short edges of the fabric.
Tip: Works best if the elastic, when fully stretched, is slightly shorter than the tie fabric.

Step 4:

Lastly, hand stitch the tie fabric together to close the gap. And style with your favorite Gone West outfit.
